Are Jay-Z and Beyonce Illuminated?: The Occult Meaning of 4:44

Practicing magick allows you to access a hidden realm, something Crowley was familiar with and frequently engaged in. It also matches their wedding date, as April 4th is 4/4.

What does this suggest? It seems to me that they were possibly inspired by Aleister Crowley's Thelema and magick when planning their wedding day and selecting the album's title. The meeting of Jay-Z and Beyonce might have been a significant synchronicity, something I frequently believe in and experience. However, I think they later became familiar with Crowley's work, placing them in the same league as the Beatles, who also knew of Crowley.

The image of Jay-Z featured in this article, where he is seen wearing a shirt that says "This Is Black Magic," was captured during a Lakers game. The shirt promotes a song and project by Kelly Rowland, but I think Jay-Z chose to wear it because it offers a double, or perhaps even triple, entendre.

As of this moment Jay-Z released a documentary with Hip-Hop legend Rick Rubin for HBO titled Jay-Z in 8 "Parts." For me Jay-Z is still in love with the numbers 44 and magick because 8 is but the numbers 4+4 added together. 8 also serves another purpose as it is the infinity symbol and it is my belief that many of these elite rich occult types try to tap into this idea that there is everlasting life for some of the bloodline. Jay-Z and Beyonce may be a part of these bloodlines with albums titled Magna Carta Holy Grail it makes you wonder. The Grail is the san greal or sang real which means royal bloodline. Beyonce for her part has shown blood relations stretching back to Queen Elizabeth II and King Henry II of England.
